Bird Song – ABC…Z Acrostic

Another ABC..Z Acrostic. This morning, I was sitting here working on WordPress. It was dark out and I heard something that sounded like music. I stood up, walked over toward the stereo to see if I had left it on. This brought me closer to the window and that’s when I discovered the sound was coming from the outside. I got a big grin on my face and threw open the window to bask in the glorious sound of bird song. That prompted the haiku of my previous post and that just wasn’t enough… so I did this ABC…Z acrostic. Enjoy!

Bird Song!

As
Bird
Calls
Deeply
Echo
Forming
Gorgeous
Hymns
I
Joyously
Know
Love.
Making
New
Overtures,
Priceless,
Quietly
Resonating
Sounds.
Triumphant
Undulating
Voluminous
Warbles
Xenops
Yielding
Zeal

  1. I can soooo relate to your joy in bird ‘song’. Having the windows open in good weather clues me to the activities of my resident sparrows–and they’re a perpetual source of entertainment–and joy.

    • Eva,
I’ve actually moved since I wrote that.. ok I’ve actually moved twice.. I look forward to more bird song enjoyment as I’m in a place that has lots of bird activity and a couple of great spots to sit outside and enjoy them. Thanks for the feedback.

      Peace,

      Stephen
