Bubbling cool creek
Washing over tired feet
Soothing inner soul

    How often we take water for granted. I know I appreciated it this summer in all the heat! Your haiku reminds me of our need and is somehow a nice ode to a natural resource we often abuse.

    As always, thanks for the comments. I agree with your thoughts on water and I think air is another one we take for granted. We breathe every day but it’s different when we slow ourselves down, close our eyes if practical, take a deep breath in and let it out slowly. Several times of this while thinking about the air moving in and out, can be very calming. In fact, I wrote a haiku about it a while back:
