Sunbathing Beauty (With Photos) – Poem – NaPoWriMo Day 12

Today, in my front yard, I saw the first of many beauties out sunbathing. I spent some time enjoying the beauty, taking photos and absorbing the view. Now before you go clicking away from here or thinking me a perv, read the poem and then look at the accompanying photos :) And if you came here only for the photos, well, I guess I'm happy to disappoint you or better yet, to let you feast your eyes on some beauty and maybe take in a poem as well...

Enjoy!

Sunbathing Beauty

I see you there in all your beauty
Curved body, white skin bent towards the sun
Absorbing all its goodness
Making you come out of your shell

I see you there in all your naked glory
Spreading back your folds
Raising your arms to the sun
Shifting your body as it glides across the sky

You will disappear when the sun’s rays
Set gently out of view
Folding up into yourself
Waiting patiently for the morning dew

The dew that signals another day
A day for you to display once again
Your enticing beauty
Tantalizing me with your skin
