Tired – Poem

Tired

Tired
Eyes drooping
Hands swooping up
To catch a bobbing head

Mouth starts to gape
A bit of drool escapes
Drips off my chin
To softly blend into my shirt

Belly protrudes
Full of pizza and booze
Drifting off I think of running
Instead, I snooze
