Chuffed
In came a flurry of words Aussie sent
Head in a twirl, Inbox with a dent
Laptop dinged, mobile phone too
As messages crossed deep oceans blue
Laced with humor, banter flowed
Ideas shared, opinions told
New words bounced in
Looked them up, had to grin
“So chuffed you liked it” that’s what was said
“There’s a word for a poem” bounced through my head
“Go on I dare ya” was her reply
So Jen here’s your poem with Chuffed stuffed inside
Not once, but twice seems pretty good to me
And if you add the title the count goes to three

Dang I can’t hit the like button more than once?????! Ok I loved it – enjoyed the banter the whizzing of minds *click click* words…stanzas..acrostics..Haikus..glogyrnach’s…my head is full of it all – almost 7 hrs in front of the MAC… time for dinner before I get smacked. Thanks Stephen for this I run away giggling 🙂
