As sometimes happens, I’ve been pinged by the writing fairy while reading comments on another blog. This time the comments came from Panda who very cleverly wrote the following on UnfetteredBS’s blog here.
“Please write a tiny poem about an acorn on a mountain, but you’ll have to fetch the acorn first.
(it’s a high cue for a hike-you for a haiku!!) ”
So this haiku is for Panda
Panda
Climb the mountain high
At the top, find an acorn

This is such a lovely whimsy haiku – excellent!
Who would’ve known the seed I’d sown has hereby grown to a tiny poem 🙂
I responded also if you wanted to peek.
