Befuddled – Poem

A friend of mine recently (as in today) said she was befuddled. I responded that I hope she finds her way out of the befuddled puddle and that’s where my journey began. I wrote the line “Befuddled in a mud puddle.”
Then I right clicked (in MS Word) on the word Befuddled and clicked synonyms. I used the words in that list as the first word for each new line.

Befuddled

Befuddled in a mud puddle
Confused by the lack of sound
Muddled brown doing its best to confound
Baffled there’s no one around
Puzzled I’m here at all
Perplexed that no one saw
Stumped as to how to get out
Flummoxed no doubt
Nonplussed, this mud puddles a bust
