Playing in the key of Ms. G. – Poem

Ms. G.,

Just a short little poem to say thank you for all you do for our youth and community. You are an amazing teacher, inspiration and friend and both parents and students are fortunate to have you in our lives. You are loved and appreciated.

Thanks for all you do!

Stephen

(Ms. G. is the orchestra teacher at the middle school here.)

Playing in the key of Ms. G.

She loves, unyielding in her quest
To tune the hearts and minds of our youth

Gives all, no second best
Pulling out more than they know

Year after year, gardener extraordinaire
Stirring young hearts with her passion

Planting seeds of musical views
Watering others to encourage new shoots

Baton waves, smile radiates
Short hair dances, body feels the groove

Bows and strings rule the night
Life spills forth touching player and listener alike

Garden comes to life as young hearts
Full bloom; play in the key of Ms. G.
