Braille with the tongue – Poem – NaPoWriMo2013

This was written in response to a comment over on my friend Alice Key’s blog 😀

Braille with the tongue – Poem

Braille with the tongue
Absurd you say
No, No, I assure you
It’s the good Dr.’s way

You pop up a batch
Of popcorn you see
And read what it says
As you taste 1, 2, 3

Three pieces of popcorn
All smothered in butter
How does that translate
“Please give another”

Sprinkle some salt
And in a handful or two
The three pieces of popcorn say
“I Love You”

  1. Alice Keys says:

What a great poem to wake up to this morning. Laughing till my eyes weep. This sounds like Dr. Suess. It begs for silly illustrations. Thanks so much. Alice
