Love shown
Sun’s last rays gently filter through the blinds
Your head drifts to my lap
Wisps of hair fall across your cheek
A bit stuck in your mouth
I slide a finger between cheek and hair
Your lips twitch as strands
Pull out of your mouth
We grin
Eyes lock in embrace
Your face
Love expressed
No words uttered
