Burn wood for paper – Poem – NaPoWriMo2013

Below is my understanding of some of the fuel for a paper mill… Seems a bit strange to me.

Burn wood for paper

Burn wood to make paper
It’s a bit strange but true
There’s a new plant that’s growing
That’s just what they’ll do

Built in the valley
Beauty all around
Snow covered mountains
In the valley none found

It’s a bio fuel mill
And strange as it seems
They’ll burn wood for paper
That just sounds obscene

Seems like feeding pigs pig
Just to fatten them some
And wondering why the count is down
When selling time comes

But what do I know
Maybe it’s good
For the paper mill plant
To feed its furnace wood

  1. Alice Keys says:

Bet it’s simply cost effective. Like blowing the tops off mountains to burn them. Makes no sense to me. What do I know.

  2. ..tick..a head-scratcher for sure..tick..
