Touch
When was the last time you reached out
Grabbed a loved one by the hand
Not with any intention other than cause you can
When was the last time you looked at them
Held their eye for just a bit
Telling them you love them without moving your lips
When was the last time you passed them
Touched a shoulder or a thigh
Or gently patted their head on the way by
Touch is so important, especially on “off-beat times”
Reach out when they’re near you
Let your hearts intertwine

Off beat touch… jazz rhythms. Love touches unexpectedly sudden. Sigh.
Alice,
Loving touch, especially unexpected, is really a such a wonderful / necessary part of love and relationship.
