A Mere Tear In The Ocean of Suffering – Acrostic

In an earlier post today I wrote down “A mere tear in the ocean.” I was trying to relay my thoughts on how even though today’s events hit me pretty hard, the impact of how I felt from this as compared to how someone directly and significantly impacted by today’s events (through loss of child / loved one) must feel is like “A mere tear in the ocean.” As I sometimes do when a line hits me, I decided to turn that line into an acrostic. I’ve obviously added “of Suffering” to the line.

  1. Beautifully written, evoking sadness and now I have learnt what Acrostic also means…thank you for both.

  2. and….. sadly it only dawned on me the words spelt for the Title – I just read the lines without realising…ok I run and hide in embarrassment!
